Your Role:
As a Principal Energy Management Consultant, you’ll be at the forefront of advising clients on efficient energy use, helping reduce costs while boosting energy efficiency. You’ll work closely with building owners and managers, uncovering opportunities for energy management and devising cost-effective solutions. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing energy-saving strategies.
- Conducting thorough energy audits and analyses.
- Creating detailed reports on energy usage, savings, and tailored recommendations.
- Providing expert advice on new feature development for our AI engine and dashboard.
This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Guildford, offering flexibility to work from home.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in energy management or building management consulting.
- In-depth knowledge of energy conservation measures, building control systems, HVAC, and lighting systems.
- Proficiency in energy modeling, building energy audits, and designing energy-efficient solutions.
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret data, presenting complex information in an understandable format.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
- Accreditation in AEM/CEM or equivalent certification is preferred.
Preferred certifications: Accredited Energy Manager (AEM), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Professional Energy Manager (PEM), and familiarity with ISO 50001 and ASHRAE standards
