Rahim is a visionary leader and the driving force behind DIREK. As the Director/Co-Founder of our company, he also holds the prestigious position of Professor of Mobile and Satellite Communications at the University of Surrey in the UK. With over 25 years of experience in digital communications research and teaching, Rahim's expertise is unrivaled. He's played a pivotal role in large national and international projects, managed EU-FP5/6/7 and Horizon 2020 initiatives, and founded the world's first dedicated Innovation Centre for 5th Generation Mobile/Wireless technologies. Rahim's impact extends to advisory roles for major tech giants, and he's delivered visionary talks, like his TEDx presentation on the "Future of Connected World."
Dr. Amir Taba
CEO | CTO | Co-founder
Amir is our CEO and CTO, co-founder, and a leading data scientist. With a strong educational background in Physics, Mobile Networks, and Electronics, Amir brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. His contributions as the lead data scientist and principal algorithm designer for the Platform Independent Positioning System (PIPS) and Smart Indoor Monitoring System (SIMS) have been instrumental. Amir's patents and publications in the IoT domain have garnered recognition, and his Surrey 40 under 40 accolade by Surrey County Council in 2022 underscores his impact.

Ali is a seasoned executive with a remarkable track record in tech-centric businesses. With roles at OpenText and Adobe, he's excelled in driving revenue growth and customer value. Ali's background, including an M.S. in Telecommunications Networks from NYU, executive studies at Columbia and UC Berkeley, equips him with advanced technical acumen.
