Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling DIREK’s Smart Building Management solutions that enhance modern habitats and workplaces. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, expanding our market presence, and achieving strategic business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate markets with SBM solutions, targeting key sectors including commercial real estate, hospitality, healthcare, and education.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their unique needs to propose tailored solutions that prioritize energy efficiency, security, and resource optimization.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including conducting presentations, negotiations, and contract signings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and identify lead generation opportunities.
  • Provide insights into product development and innovation by gathering market intelligence and customer feedback, ensuring DIREK’s offerings remain competitive and relevant.
  • Advocate for occupant well-being and sustainable practices in all business dealings, aligning with DIREK’s mission to contribute to a healthier planet.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, representing DIREK’s values and vision in the marketplace.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the technology or building management sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach and the capability to work independently and collaboratively.
