Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid (onsite/ remote) Frontend Developer (Angular) role located in Guildford. As a Frontend Developer with DIREK, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing responsive web pages, cross-platform applications and integrate REST services and APIs. You will also work with UX designers and software engineers to design and deploy user interfaces and write well-documented, readable, and reusable code.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in frontend development, including creating responsive web pages and cross-platform applications
    Excellent knowledge of Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and design patterns
  • Experience with user interface design, UX design, and software engineering principles, including familiarity with REST services and APIs
  • Strong testing and debugging skills, proficiency in debugging tools like Chrome DevTools and the ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Extreme Programming, and Continuous Integration
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills, ability to work and collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with backend development and full-stack development is a plus
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS is a plus
